Tuff Stuff 130amp alternator (amps at idle)

Good afternoon all,

I am looking at upgrading my alternator due and wanted to know the alternator output at idle of the Tuff Stuff 130 amp single wire. Are there other factory appearing units out there anyone recommends?

Are you sure your wiring is up to the task? Myself I would get rid of the AMP meter if your still running it before putting that much juice through the gauge and the bulkhead wiring.

yes, wiring is updated and the ammeter would not be used. I am looking for an alternator that has a good amp output at idle.

Its not a single wire alternator, it still requires an external regulator
