Stanley owns both Mac and Craftsman brands as well as a host of others.

I also can't stomach snap on prices.

I do like "2nd tier" stuff, though like S-K.

I used to say about craftsman- "break it and get a free replacement, can't get much better"

I got my SK tools in 1971 and they're still going strong 48 years later. I Bought a cheap 1/4" drive set back then from Menards and that's still working great. By the way how do you break 1/4" drive ratchet anyhow? Put a cheater pipe on it? LOL
