Del the (GMC) traitor

After having my 2006 Silverado company truck since it was brand new, I won't say one bad thing about Chevy/GMC trucks. I had a Ford before that, and the Chevy rides MUCH better. Nice truck, and congrats!
Me too, driving a 2001 Silverado 1500 with only 105K on it but its been lugging around a 1000lb L90 service body its whole life. Driveshaft bearing and fuel pump were the only major service parts. Front end is getting a little noisy....but runs like a top. Wife loved our 98 Suburban, Drove smooth and quiet. Dual core heater and paint started to go south so we traded it for a 70K mile '94 Lex LS400 (and a G!) ) from a guy with a cabinet business who was looking for a work vehicle. That LS was awesome, had to look at the tach to tell if it were running from inside.
I drove a newer Ford van and a newer Chevy van. Didnt like either, especially the Fords small steering wheel or faster ratio steering, something felt wrong with it coming from a Chevy. My oldest was a white 318 Dodge van, complete beater but its short wheelbase and the fact that it had body dings everywhere made for a fun drive down narrow alleys blasting through low hanging trees and brush.
