My Current Situation
Very well could be, not sure if the quran specifically mentions her turning into a salt pillar but the story is pretty much the same as the bible. In Islamic belief the entire city was raised up out of the ground by God, flipped upside down and dropped. That's the supposed explanation of why the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth and the salt is supposed to be another visual reminder of what happened.
