By George I think I found it. This feedback thing is easy peasy! Now were is that Dr. Smith?

Ok, let me give you an example. Say someone has some "stuff" for sale. That "stuff" is "in the same ballpark" as what you're lookin for, but the exact item you're lookin for ain't there, so you PM the seller with "hay, I saw you have blah blah for sale, might you have (fill in the blank) too? The seller says "yes, I have that too". Since (fill in the blank) was not listed in the for sale ad, your little "stupid easy" button won't work for that. Then the buyer and seller have to enter feedback manually. Even though you, me and most everybody else thinks it's easy, to some people it's not. There's always going to be something that's "outside the box" of convention.
I agree. It has been my same problem trying leave some feedback before. I did make a purchas while back and the seller helped me with the detail like the friggin URL or whatever it is!!
I seldom sell so I give a crap, but I like to leave feedback to the seller when they make a point to request it.

If I am tryng to buy something I simply look at how long they been on site, any feed back, and I figure IF someone is hard up enough to screw me out of a few $$ they are in worse shape than me.

It's tough for some people. Folks just caint understand some people can run a computer just barely enough to negotiate the forum and that's about it. Much less copy and paste and do all that other stuff.

I think RRR had the situation like me, I got into conversation and bought a part from a member where it was not listed for sale here in FABO , or maybe the thread where it was for sale I could never ever find again.
But, give me some credit, I was the guy that taught RRR how to spell "computer". !!?????? lol

again, I cant plan for every possible eventuality. You might meet someone off the forum at a show, and buy a part. How would I possibly deal with that? There are many possibilities not covered.

Anyway I am not gonna do 1 million $$$ worth of parts buying over the internet and USPS!!!! I still say, 99.8% of the people on here are honest.
Me and RRR have trouble with the cut and paste thing and URL stuff. We are the vast minority , it will all be OK.

Does it have to be a for sale add that gets linked to the feedback ?
Or could I happen upon you at a local mopar show, make a "guess who I met" thread in the general forum, and link that one?

Granted, it adds a few steps, but nothing that can't be overcome
I guess @barbee6043 might could even link this thread because he mentioned it here, and put all the pertinent info in the feedback box

Only problem I’ve had is if a buyer pms me only and never posts on the for sale thread. Then I've gotta hunt down specific thread as access is not one click but one click & a search. But that is on me, not the feedback format here.

I'd love for that to be the case too @diymirage! I don't buy or sell here often but have worked with so many of you over the years as a Vendor that it would be fabulous if all those glorious feedback threads were publicly visible to help aid their feedback scores as well as my own. I'd bet other FABO Vendors would appreciate it too if every mention (i.e., "Got my Layson's Headlight Buckets Installed!") could be linked or tagged back to that vendor. (Did anyone else notice that FABO threads quit showing up near the top on most search engine results after the last upgrade?)
