So cool, you got it. I can hear your neighbors now "here comes that old truck geezer" lol

Well, already unbolted the passenger seat, "exploratory" LOL. Explorin lifting the driver's seat that is. I'm 5'11, but I don't like sittin low especially in a pickup. Unfortunately the two front fasteners are studs. We'll see how this goes.

One problem is, when you raise the power seat, only the seat raises, not the back..........so the lumber "thing" gets out of proportion.

With the vast difference in persons, manufacturers should make it easy to block seats up, a kit maybe
They do make a kit and this one gets very good reviews on the GM truck forums.

^^Thanks I found these as well but am told they will not fit power seats. I will investigate further

It should at least give you some good ideas how to fab your own if you can’t find a kit.

Yeh, the quick look I took last night (just unbolted the pass side tipped it fore and aft and looked under) a couple of strips of say, 1" square tube or maybe 1 1/4 would work. Drill "through holes" through the top to get to the bolts below, and offset the seats to the rear enough to get the seat bolts configured.
