Two thoughts.
1: it’s your car.
2: it’s a 1975 Duster, not a 70 hemi cuda.
Both equal the same thing, do what you want to it. Ignore the naysayers.
That said, gasser styling one of these has been done before and usually with terrible driveability. Be prepared to re-engineer at lot of structural support on the car. Sub frame connectors and front frame rails especially
