Sorry to hear about Grumpy Cat, our Casi has developed a UTI & is being treated. I hope she gets through it, she's 14 years old & the last of our three cats. RIP Grumpy Cat.
Few years ago we lost all 3 cats in 1 year. Gone but never forgotten. BTW great name.

I grew up with cats and so did my wife. We have had several in our lives since we have been married, but unfortunately I have developed a severe allergy to cats so the last ones we had will be the last we ever have.
It’s a shame...I love the critters and wish we could keep them in our lives.

Damn, sucks. I like cats and dogs but especially cats. Have always had 1 or 2 or 9.
Sounds like us. We have ten right now.

Thank God somebody has more than we do (currently 8, lost one last week), we are already known as the crazy cat people! All strays and rescues. And I totally agree with MrJLR

GC was female and had some genetic issues.
uti is usually more of a problem in males
we nearly lost our oldest to UTI last year but he is doing ok now

My wife bought a round Grumpy Cat pillow she keeps on our bed. "Those nights you fall asleep on the couch, it's like you're still in bed with me".
I'm a bit surprised there being so many guys admitting to be cat people on here, being the manly muscle-car site and all
We have 4... was down to 2 from a high of 7 at one point. My brother in law was going to kill his cat (so he said anyway) for chewing up all his Apple charging cords.. so we took him. He's a young cat, so the wife had the idea of getting a kitten to keep him busy not chewing cords.. and that worked! However, that cute kitten a year later is almost 17 pounds... fat lazy assed cat.
