Stop in for a cup of coffee

I found reasonably good selection at Lowes last month. Seeds from two different companies. Decent selection although missing some I would have liked. Might end up doing a mail order for those oddballs. Going to do some groundhog fencing now.

Funny that you mention groundhog... We saw a groundhog run through my front yard this afternoon...

Didn't have my camera handy for pics...

Seven hours one way Fargo to Omaha. Jaws beat me by about fifty miles or so for longest traveled. He went home with some bling. He down plays his car but it is very nice as well. And he had some spare water when I was seriously dehydrated!
Hey, it's just a driver that looks good at midnight with the lights out. Always have water, gotta drink your water.

Decided I didn't want to feed as much to the rabbits this year so threw a chicken wire fence together. Got most of it planted. Still need to do the seeds. Got small packs of green beans, snap peas and radishes. Plus she has a blueberry bush that is going in there.

Good luck on the blueberries. All varieties seem to be particular on the soil. Acid for sure. Have you talked to the county extension folks for types and varieties for your area?

Wth? Fabo gardening club?
Not that i dont like gardening,no time for it. Last go round i did all the work.
All of it. Never again. Until i find time to build raised planters.
If you had a growing season it would be easier. :poke:

And you need two to ensure proper pollination. We grew blueberry bushes when I was a kid, and you need at least two. Also, you need good anti-bird netting when they begin to set fruit.

My Dad skipped the netting and all we did was feed the birds! LOL!

You should have seen the look on my Dad’s face when the berries were near ripe one day and completely gone the next.

Camara is the last thing I would have been thinking about.
Well, maybe in the front yard....

I seem to be stuck in a peet bog of late with smokey accents!

We had a brush fire a dozen years ago or so. Brush fire catches peet bog on fire. Almost every morning we have a breeze from the SW which put me downwind of the peet bog fire for the 3 months it took them to get it out. That aroma got old after the first couple mornings .

It smells like Chinese rubber tires.

Peated scotch gets its peat moss flavor from the distillers drying grains with peat fires. The Scotch picks up that flavor. Some like it. I don't if it's very strong.

First...

Not by choice. Major accident just down the road. Very ugly. Truck/car head on, then one bounced into a pole and the other into several parked cars in a guys drive way. Power is out for at least the next 6 hours.
