‘66 Barracuda hood latch assembly

According to my 66 parts book: The hood lock for your 66 Barracuda is 2583206. That same lock is also found on the full size Dodge Polara.

This is what I’ve found, it looks to be the right size for the holes in the core support, but I don’t see any way to unlatch it. Is this missing some kind of release handle?
