first of, the thread title reads "member who did not finish paying his bill"
that means he started, right?
how much did he pay in?
Was agreed to be by the billable hour from the start. He was kept informed theough entire process with pictures every day it was worked on.
as Yellow Rose pointed out, plans change, and i'd be curious to hear if that might have happened here, and perhaps the customer paid the original quote?
how do you even go about quoting a job like this?
i know a lot of contractors got paid by partial completion (changing gears here) you know, they quote a house for 200K, the pour the foundation, get paid 40K, put up the frame, get paid 40K, put the roof on, 40K, well, you get the idea. perhaps that could be implemented on your future jobs, to keep debts from building up
