Just a suggestion using a thicker motor mount helped the pipe that was laying hitting the steering pump with dougs headers. Got my mounts from napa. I don't remember the part number but schumacher & trans dapt mounts were both not tall enough to clear. I didn't have to dent my dougs]

Perfect idea.

1971 A-body biscuit mount(2266) vs 1974 318 B-van(2265).
The Van's mount is noticeably thicker and will raise the engine just enough to cure some fitment headaches.
