Does anyone know if a 68/69 Dart hood will fit a 70 duster. I think the GTS hood would look good on a Duster

Yes It would look nice with the bulge GTS hood.

Unfortunately will not work. 67-69 Dart hoods are the same, 70-72 Dart, Demon hoods are the same. 70-72 Dart, Demon front fenders have the extensions on the front as to work with the 70-72 Hoods.

Have to find a way to graft the GTS Hood Bulges on to your 1970 Duster hood if you want to achieve those results. Although 70-72 Dart Demon hoods have ridges down the left and right sides that will interfere unless you move the GTS hood bulges inboard more. We are talking total custom work here.

As such in this photo of grafting the GTS hood Bulges onto a standard 67 Dart hood.

Example of what could be done to a standard 67 Dart Hood for those that want to customize things.

Right. Finding a donor GTS hood would be hard enough. It would be a lot of work

Depends how creative you are and skill level, I found a rusted GTS hood, the guy that had it gave me the GTS hood bulge part of it for free. Used the underside of the hood as a reverse mold and made the parts from fiberglass, as like other fiberglass hood scoops.

Same 1969 Dart GTS that I got my 8 3/4 out of that is in my 1967 Dart 2 Door Post car right now. The car was very rusted so the guy was parting it out. The replacement steel GTS hoods are like 700 bucks plus shipping and used ones if you can find them are rough and still bring a big price. I like to do creative things and have good skills for the auto body part of it so it is easy for me to do it, enjoy the process and the end results . . on all things.

Really depends what a person wants and how original they want to keep their car.

Like your idea for the look on the Duster . . .

Wanted to share this nice 3rd generation Dodge Truck with Challenger Hood Scoops grafted on.

From one of our members here: dicksmidlac
from Thunder Bay, Canada
This is his son's truck and his son did all the bodywork and paint and grafted on the Challenger hood to it also.

Super Nice Job, for a young guy . . his father is proud.
