Don't worry about copying someone elses' car, I look at it this way;
I hope someone ends up copying my car (once I get it done-ish, some day) because that means that my car is just too cool.
Well, my bumpers will end up painted, since they're going to be fiberglass (as well as the rear decklid, fenders, valence, hood and header panel). I just don't want that weight.
I am definitely going to copy @Cope with his window cranks, what was it? 12.5 pounds out of each door?
If I don't build my 400 with the stock stroke, I will want to copy the @AndyF 451 manifesto or @younggun2.0 470 build for that 400 block. I am leaning towards the 470 though.

Yea I wish I had lenos money I'd copy a lot of cars lol he has like 11 acres worth of warehouses full of cars and motorcycles. Ieno is a cool down to earth guy tho he is such a car nut just like us. He has some really cool stories on his Jay Leno garage show !!

If someone wanted to copy my build, i would say go for it!
But be forewarned, i used parts from no less than 20 different cars to build it, and i can't remember where some of the parts came from exactly.
A lot of it was traded for many years ago or bought at various swap meets and junk yards so i thought i would use them up to ''throw together'' a cheap driver from what i had.
And of course, some new parts were used i.e. brakes and suspension.

A few more part changes in last couple years brings it to at least 40 donor cars now.
Just another cool thing about FABO is being able to share ideas, ideals, ambitions, plans, builds.... we take something from everyone and every car, whether we love it or not!

Agreed, i do a lot more reading and thinking about upgrading my car/future builds than posting while i'm on here..........

If someone wants to do something stupid like cut the entire top of their car off like I did mine to copy it, I say more power to them. I see so few A-bodies in my area, I wouldn't even care if there was one exactly like mine. It would just be nice to see more Mopars in my area period.

Every build has inspiration. Every pic I've viewed on here has swayed me one way or another. Many times when I'm working on my piece of **** I wonder what a notch back version of djais1801's car would look like. He had a Demon, I have a Swinger.

Actually, i saved a lot of them from being crushed, so they have the opportunity to live in other projects or sold/traded for other parts.
I will sell them all or parts for reasonable prices if asked.
Shipping is the killer though, that's why i still have so much stuff left over.
Within 10 years or less, it will all be gone one way or another.........

I just sold off (traded) the last of my Barracuda cars and parts last fall and don't have any A-Body big block parts.
