Swedish 1969 Dart GT + 1964 Dart GT

Can´t say I´m totally satisfied with the result. Lots of wrinkles from laying in the package for a couple of years. Have to do some adjustments.
Tried to heat the liner as i seen on Youtube but I can´t say anything happens. More heat?? Maybe I´m too cautious??
Is it really shrinking when heating??
I don´t think theres a problem to get rid of wrinkles in the middle , it´s more a problem back at the posts around back window.

ps. picture in the middle it´s just hanging in the bows. Right hand picture is more the final result

Iron it with steam on a lower setting. Put a sheet of cloth on top as a protectant layer and move fairly quick with the iron.
Try a small test spot first...

Well done so far! The color really pops. I don't know why I have missed your thread. Guess I have to spend more time here.

Couldn´t think it was THAT tight to plant the engine.
The valve covers are not yet finished , gonna sand down and polish the ribs and letters.
Can´t find any grommets for the bigger holes in the covers. At least it´s been hard to find yet. The holes are 1 1/2" so if anyone knows , was thinking a push-in style breather. Just let me know.

Is this guy selling these fuse boxes? Looks like a great upgrade.
I actually don’t know. I bought one box from him. He had lots of problem with the material at first but at last he finished one for me.
Can say there was some work to clean it up inside the holes for the connectors. In my opinion it’s not 100% ready from the beginning. Soon gonna turn the power on and test the system. Have some job to do with the wiring still before evaluation.

Can take a picture of it in place how it looks tomorrow

Some more progress. Doors finished besides the locks. Forgotten to polish

Looking great. I like how you made the aftermarket shifter fit the stock console. Do you have any detailed pix of how you did that?

Only have this. Took the original shifter bracket away and made a new for the Quiksilver. Thats all

I did the same using a Quicksilver but your PRND2L looks better.
How did you do that?

I did the same using a Quicksilver but your PRND2L looks better.
How did you do that?
I just cut it out from the Quicksilver console and made it fit in the hole of the original.
Made also some changes to the indicator but it doesn’t show 100% accurate. It is a bit hard to see down the hole and hard to align to the markings

I´m quite satisfied with the engine bay. Have to change the blue wires tho

Time is flying. No updates since June. The car is finished and I´ve been driving all summer. Had some electrical issues , the coil gave up while cruising in Askersund in the middle of the night.
Fought my way back home hardly touching the gas pedal.
Deadline was set to 1:st of May. It was close. Had first testrun the 2:nd on my friends steel rims due to a bad Rallye wheel rim that was thought to be used.
Got the moldings on before Springmmet in Orebro Saturday May 4:th.

Will be back with some more pictures from other cruisings.
This winter I will change rear axle , adjust the fenders better amongst some other small details.

She is beautiful in ever aspect. I bet your the envy of the neighborhood. A job well done. I do like the wheels that came off it. Shame I live too far away or I'd want to buy them from you

So. Hello guys long time no posts. I consider the -69 as finished and have started on another project.
