Blueprint engines. (Again)

It was about 4 years ago my friend and a couple buddy's bought a Chevy blueprint engine from summit and installed it then fired it up and coolant was coming out the tail pipe and radiator. Pulled the motor back out and took it back to summit where it sat for a while, he kept calling about it and they said to come and get it they put it back in and the same thing so they pressure tested it and one cyl wouldn't even hold 40lbs, my friend bought it on his A-Tech account so it is a first hand account. Summit wouldn't refund the money because they said there was nothing wrong, then the guy that owned the car posted a video on youtube of the coolant coming out everywhere and badmouthing Summit then summit stepped up and paid the bill for the engine. That's when my friend closed his A-tech account and hasn't bought anything from Summit Racing sense. I don't know who was all involved with this if anyone maybe some joker at summit who knows, maybe blueprint never seen the engine but the people that are selling your products should be taking care of your customers. All these guys are from N.E. Ohio.
Thanks for responding, and sorry to hear about the experience. I'm from NE Ohio born and raised. Wonder if I have crossed paths with these gentlemen. I have drag raced across The NE and I have alot of buddies at this time representing our engines both on the street and track with great success.
I can speak first hand than we tell our resellers to always send customers back our way to let us resolve issues. Our warranty policy, and our training presentations (that I personally gave to about 400 reseller employees in OH myself only a few months back) repeats over and over, to refer customers back to us. We know that sometimes a reseller will just try to "make things right" without involving us, and things can sometimes go south when the mfg of the product isnt the one giving recommendations and rectifications. It sounds to me (from my hopeful perspective) that we were in the dark on this one, and could/would have done a much better job getting these guys squared up in a more timely manner, and feeling alot better about our product and service. We arent perfect, we dont pretend to be, but we do take care of our customers when given the chance.
