IIRC those are the K-H Magstars ?

I have this place in my old booksmarks.
AKH Vintage Wheels - Vintage Rally, Styled Steel, and Alloy Wheels
They specialize buying and selling vintage wheels.

No, they look pretty much like most aluminum slots. Hard to tell them apart from U.S. Indys if that helps. You have to check the back side where they say Shelby 500 or U.S. Indy or Ansen or whomever. A photo would help sure. Here's one I stole off Craigs list. If more detail i required I'll have to stage a shot with one of mine. And thanks for the reminder about AKH Vintage. I 've checked them out in the past. They don't show 14x7 SBP but they are always worth a phone call.

I have one that looks similar...not sure size or bolt pattern. I had one on 67 coronet.

Lol, I love French Onion soup. I was curious as "backwash" is a term we use in water treatment. Dont hear it too often elsewhere.
French onion soup ?:poke:

I have a pair of 14x7 old slots. But it doesn't have a brand name on the back. It does say 14x 7. SBP

I would like to see a photo of them if possible.. Manufacturer information isn't always prominent if it's even thereat all. Your wheels may be pristine but even a little road crud can obscure it. I'm no authority but there are lots of "no-name" wheels that can only be identified by styling cues found on the reverse such as shape of webbing or thickness of spoke crosssection

Interesting. The number BB232B should help ID. Without checking I can see differences in the back side. The front looks close. I'll have to lug one of mine to the computer for side by screen comparison. I don't know the back spacing on my Shelbys but that comparison needs made.
Blasted? Blast that blasted blasting? The first thought I had when I saw your photos was "****, they've been painted white." Mine have original crud and stains on a machined finish, unpolished. I'm looking into having mine remachined.which I take to mean chucked on a lathe and spun while a cutting tool recuts each surface. Whatever. That sounds non-inexpensive so maybe polishing. Depends on what car they go on
Okay, one more item on my "to-do" list.

Ogre Backwash is old slang for the warmish dregs of beer swirling around the bottom of, originally, a quart or, later, 40oz beer bottle being shared among friends. Typically involves high school and college age folks in informal setting drinking straight from the snout. The last few ounces would be lukewarm, flat and mixed with saliva backwashed from each mouth. Sometimes it's inadvertent and sometimes not. You have to know the personal habits of your friends and keep an eye out for anyone rinsing their teeth. Ogre? Only an Ogre would really like it. I just like the way it sounds.

I have a set. 2 14x6 and 2 14x7 small bolt pattern. Need cleaned/polished. Sorry but I’m not willing to break up the set. $100 for all 4, you cover the shipping from 16233. Or, pick them up. (I can take them to Carlisle next month if you’re gonna be there).
Have all 4 center caps also.

That's a fair offer and the condition matches mine but I only need one, and I'm in California so there is shipping. I've got too many wheels around here as it is but I will keep yours in mind.
