Easy to make big power with r5p7 deal, abd they can be had quite cheap if you look around.
A buddy bought one( and it was restrictor plate motor)
Was barely 12 to 1 and had a dinky 248/258 cam in it. Heads are super good, his went around 400 cfm
Tossed it in a 68 Dart with a 904 and went 9.40’s at 143 ish.
They can be way more stout than his was
