I didn't give a hard launch, it was perfect for a first test run. No one in the next lane, first few passes and race traffic still a little slow coming in. I felt it was a nice first pass, I was able to take my time and remember to look at the r/f Gage!(finally)

^^ I found THIS to be the best way to enjoy these hot rods. We do the exact same, drive to the strip, eat on the way home, and our trip to the track is all scenic. Only it's about 100 miles total for us.
