Swapping X's for Trick Flows

Yeah you're right
I was just hoping I could run what I have for now and upgrade later.
My car had headers before ,but cheapo low hanging ones that hit every speed bump, lumpy intersections, driveways...etc
Always blowing gaskets
So that's why I went to manifolds.
Tti's or dougs only way to go , not have all those problems.
Just wasn't ready to spend another $700 +
I don't have a choice now.
No doubt it will make more power.
Oh well gotta pay to play...lol

First I want to thank everyone for their interest on this;
And I completely agree headers will absolutely make more power!
If my car was a race only or even street/strip car no way would I have used manifolds!
It's a daily driver that I want to run on 91
Also more power was not my only reason for swapping heads.
The main thing was trying to get rid of detonation without de tuning it to death or starting over completely.
I spent a lot of time researching cylinder heads and decided if I was gonna do it I might as well wait for the Trick Flows to become available that gives me so much more right out of the box.
I'm so happy to report the detonation is gone!! ( at least that I can hear.)
I have been around racing all my life and was taught by some legendary racers / engine builders to make one change at a time to better tell what did what.
The power increase is noticeable everywhere!
Headers are definitely in the near future.

Btw I'm glad that kendog 170 suggested using a header flange as a spacer for the driver side manifold!
Which worked perfectly!
And got my car back on the road sooner.
Thank you!
