I had an add in the news paper asking $ 1,500
He showed up in kinda ratty clothes said his name was Bob got me down to $ 800
Told me he'd have it picked up the next day.
A nice big truck and trailer pulled up I asked about it the driver said well you know who you sold your car to right?
Idk some guy named bob?
He said yeah Bob Riggle the Hemi under glass guy this is his new car!!
I had no idea...lol
I saw him a few years later at Firebird Raceway in the pits he was running a different car I introduced myself to him and said I sold you my 67 he had it finished and had a picture of it doing a wheel stand at another track.
He signed it to Mike thanks for the nice car.
Then he said that will be $ 10 !!
I just had to laugh I paid for it and still have it on my wall...lol
That was about 30 something years ago.
