I'm not taking sides here. But I will say that I have dealt with dart4forte in the past and have not had an issue with him. I will add I sell a lot of parts on here and the way I try to handle a situation like this is I ask the buyer to return them at his cost and I will then refund his original money. I try not to get in the habit of shipping and refunding at my cost to see if the buyer is happy. About as fair of an option as I can think of.

Well, when I approched Him about the problems with the covers in a PM, here's his response, didn't take long to figure out I was wasting My time.

"Well, I gave you pictures, was straight with you on the shipping so as far as I’m concerned done deal. The cover in question came off another engine. Both covers were chemically stripped and powder coated by the same guy. As far as nitnoid details the covers were used for functionality, not for show. These covers were not NOS therefor were sold as a used part. Used parts are for the most parts not perfect. As far as that one fin, with a little heat it will come off. I used a bit of black RTV to place the other fin. Same can be done to the other fin.

Given the rarity of these covers and the used condition they were in I feel it was a fair deal."
