Who makes purple torque converters?
Got a nice 727 with this converter yesterday. My buddy who gave it to me has no info on it. It has a 10 stamped on the ring gear, "ALE" on one side and "140" on the other. It is brand new and looks to be well made. Painted this weird purple color. The trans was behind a 600 hp 440. That's all I know. Any ideas?
