Mike and I have been discussing for a couple days. Doesn't seem to be a consensus. Probably have to try Pertronix recommendation so I can return if wrong.

Thanks for the offer on yours, I'll keep that in mind. The shaft in mine seems pretty good so I'll try it first.

What was the original dist cap color, black?
