i like them just the way they were when new so painted body color
... or original ralley wheels.

I had body color 14" wheels on it before, then got new 15" from Wheelsmith and redlines. Couldn't decide to paint them body color again or leave them black, so so far I've left them black but leaning towards doing them yellow cuz "that's the way they were when it was new".

My 15" steel wheels came powder coated in black. Sandblasting off the powder coating is a real pain, it is however necessary to get new paint to adhere properly. I recommend taking to professionals to save your sanity, using smaller blast cabinet was very labor intensive. Body color all the way, beautiful car you have.

Thanks guys !

Cpearce, GREAT looking Swinger! The body colored wheels look perfect.
Thanks for the compliment. Funny thing, when I started looking for a Swinger years ago, I was looking for Black, or Sunfire yellow. Also a vinyl top fan. Although my car has worn Hemi orange since 98, the car was born in R4 red and will return to that one day.

They all are vastly better than 20" ninetyleven spoke cast forged injection molded wheels of today.

if i had the cash i'd have a set of 18" alumn that looklike the stock steel wheels painted body color and dog dishes on them.. they are so damn expensive though..

I didnt know they existed

I'm all for painted rims and dog dishes. Don't have a real good side view. 15/7/4 1/4 back space and 14/5/ back space unknown.
