hi guys anyone know if 2 door darts ever came with roll down rear quarter side windows? I have a 2 door 73 dart sport and would love to have rolled down rear windows.

I have a friend that has a 318 70 Barracuda with stationary quarter windows from the factory. Had no idea that was a thing.

Swingers did, not dart sport afaik.
dahdgedaht, they did not even flip out? New one to me too. Then again, 70 E bodys are strange beasts. All kinds of weird and unique one year stuff on them.

Yea my 73 sport flips out to open. Is there a way to put roll downs in??
Given enough time, money, engineering and major body modifications anything can be accomplished -- but why?

Just exploring options. I do like the flip outs, so unless it was an easy swap I prob wouldn’t bother.

Yes. All the hardtop and convertible Darts have roll down quarter windows. He is asking about the sport roof Duster, Demon and Dart Sport

So is there anyway to swap those roll downs out of a dart swinger into the dart sport?
Sure there is, here's what you have to do: cut out your inner quarter window bulkhead and remove your headliner. Probably have to graft the upper roof drip rail metal to your car (to hold the weather stripping) after you reshape it to fit your window configuration, you'll then have to weld in inner quarter bulkheads from a hardtop and adapt all the sissor lift components from the hardtop.
The glass won't be the same so you'll have to find a glass shop to design and cut glass for you. You'll ned to cut and modify the door jamb to accept the window track which you'll have to splice from some rear window track car. The hardtops don't have window tracks so you'll be in the scrounge mode. And then you have to hope the scissor lift mechanism will provide the correct travel for the window.
You might be able to gut everything from a two door post 55 Chevy and use that stuff if you can find a doaner car, but then it wouldn't be MOPAR at all. I'll do it for you without any guarantee for $30K because I'm a nice guy.
