Carter BBS question
Hey all. This may be a noobish question. I definitely try to do my research and I learn quick though ;) on this Dart that I just picked up, it’s got a bit of a rough run right now, give it a little gas at idle and it bogs down and dies. At idle there seems like backfire/popping as well. If you actually get moving it seems to drive fine.
Question I have atm is about the Carter BBS on it. In this pic here, that’s not normal is it? I do have a bunch of upgrades on the way, I got the exact model of the Carter carb on the carb tag, so I have a rebuild kit coming for that. Though I don’t know if that will fix anything? Also getting some HEI components as I’ve no idea the condition of those pieces (all stock mostly) and it sounds like a worthy upgrade regardless. I think only plugs and wires have been replaced ever.
