I think non traditional names can be OK & fine to outright weird. The spelling can be Unique to outright ignorantly stupid showing true lack of any grey matter much less I working beyond the basic breathing and eating mechanisms.
My aunts name is Mercedes. She was given that name in the late ‘30’s. Given her Mother’s accent, Spanish from Spain, it is pronounced and accented in a unique manor that only Spain delivers.
In thinking about it, it could be seen as tacky to name your kid after the sunrise, Dawn, or the flower, Iris, or after a pretty expensive rock, an old co worker named his kid “Dymund.” (Diamond)
I think Frank Zappa went a bit over the edge with “Moonunit.”
Moon, by itself is different and OK-ish I guess. IDK
But “Dwezell?”
