There is no oil gallery to or through the lifter bores on any slanty, there is only drain-back oiling and the oil running out of the pushrod cups and down the side of said pushrods to the lifters on mech valvetrain, holes up the middle won't really help since the adjuster balls aren't hollow. I doubt much will get thru there.
