I'm going to trailer my 1965 Barracuda from Atlanta to Youngstown Ohio on a Penske trailer. My question is what is the inside dimension from tire side wall to side wall. Thanks in advance.

They sell tape measures about everywhere --------------

This is my 73 on a u haul trailer (penske is probably the same trailer). Bottom of door to top of trailer fender is where you need to be careful when opening and closing door.

Factory spec tread width is 70". That should be center of the tire I would imagine. That should get you close. If my 66 wasn't locked up in storage I would run out with a tape measure.

Wish I would have seen this before I left for work.

I'll get measurements about 5 pm. When I get home.

Yea ,Im sure that is to the center of the tire but it helps alot. I'm in Ohio now and will measure their trailers.

I don't know where that factory-spec comes from but inside to inside Tire width is 48 in on mine. Inside the Insight on the spring was 44 and I measured that twice.

I just measure my car with stock 13" rims and 175\80R13 tires and it's 49" rear and 49-3/4" front between the insides of the tires.

My front is right at 49" and rear is 50".

Hate to see you leave the great state of Georgia... But I wish you Godspeed on your move.

We moved to George in 1985 from Ohio and I told my wife some day we will move back, well the day came

I grew up in Waynesboro PA, about 20 miles from Gettysburg. My son lives right down the street from you in East Liverpool. I've been to Youngstown. Too cold up there for me anymore, lol.

I admire you for keeping your word with her! There are other FABO members in your area, hopefully you'll meet up with some.

Yes, one of them has a carb shop in Austintown. Once we get in our home I'm going to look him up.
