Rough job this morning, as I have to go move some ITunes playlists to a new account on the customer's computer.
Easy money man, and I get to do service calls in my Mopar.:thankyou:

Whats up with Itunes? Are they all going away or...? My wife has a few hundred songs I dont want to lose. what is process

That's why I don't like "renting" music.

That's cool

What's that saying I can do what you can do but you can't do what I can do.

So what did you do in the remaining 95% of the day?
;)

Not going away, but sometimes a hard drive dies or in todays case the guy wanted to find out what "System Reset" does.(I was able to recover his by the way)
In your Wifes case she should look into backing up her Itunes library.
It can be put on a thumb drive, external drive or most any media so it can be recovered later if needed.
The library backup saves all the music, play lists and such to one database file so if it has to be recovered everything she has can be imported back into the program.
The library backup is under "File" "Library" "Backup" in Itunes.

See what I wrote for pishta and you can keep everything permanently once backed up.
Personally, I use a program that lets me record anything that can come out of the speakers back to the computer as an unprotected stereo MP3.
I find the music video I want on You tube and record the sound track, and then I can burn those to CD as an MP3 disc or a standard music CD.
I don't need a specific program at all, as the unprotected files will play on darn near anything and I have them permanently.

Here's an example that I used the program to record and I can't tell a difference between the originals and the recordings, and I am running a full digital sound system. www.letsgocomputers.com/music/longhairedcountryboy.mp3

I heard Apple is dropping iTunes altogether. Not sure if they will continue to support or not.
Hey TB, how do you "record" from YouTube? I've been told you need an app or program to do so.

The program I use is called Free Hi Q Recorder and is compatible with most sound systems.
