Has anyone bought and used the AMD door hinges? What do you think of the quality, fit and finish?

Any thoughts if AMD makes them or are they reselling someone else's

I bought a set, they are fine. After all the hoopla (fitting, shimming, etc.) of replacing them I might have been better off to just press new bushings in the old hinges. They are Chinese in origin.

Were the dimensionally different or just the nature of the beast when changing any hinges.
 
They were the same dimensionally, but as with any replacement part all four hinges had to be shimmed.
 
There’s a member who rebuilds original hinges - gotta think the originals will fit better than Chinese répops ! Can’t remember the name of the member who rebuilds them. Maybe he’ll chime in if he sees this thread.

He re-posted his services yesterday ([FOR SALE] - DOOR HINGE SERVICE) which got me thinking and I am in contact with him. I just want to look at all my options as cost is roughly the same, I really only need the drivers side and AMD sells each hinge separate
