My gripe with him is a small one compared to others but big to me.

I had a want ad for 68/69 bucket seats WITH headrests. The headrest factor was mega important because I had to have headrests.

So he PM's and says he has a pair of seats. I had other offers but the others did not have headrests. His seats were priced $150. More than the other seats available without headrests.

So I asked him, I said " headrests are expensive and i think i would save money buying your seats over seats without and then buying separate and adding." So I asked very explicitly "are the headrests in good shape" he says, "they are excellent"

So I get the seats and the headrests do not adjust because someone cut the studs. For the price I paid, this wasn't acceptable.

So i told him I wasn't happy to get the response "you can get new repop ones"

This is the very reason why **** can escalate. To the point of a member receiving threatening phone calls.
And nothing happens. Thanks for posting his phone number.
 
He is a very poor sport.

Last summer I gave away for free, a 66 one year only 4 speed hump. It was "for free" to the first reply. Well, Bobert was 6th in line because naturally a rare part for free will get some interest

Joking aside, I just hate seeing threads like this. It sounds at the very least he's a bit shady. Just can't understand why people have to be that way.

Leanna and I did the same and notified Joey at least a year ago. None of this would have happened had it been acted upon then. We knew who it was, but it's like beatin your head on a brick wall gettin somebody to believe you. This isn't how gold members should be treated. They support the site and deserve better. I realize maybe they cannot trace IP addresses anymore, but members in good standing should be trusted when they are trying to tell you something. I agree with @cosgig. Might as well just let um all back in if you're not gonna do anything.

Lastly, WHY should he be banned? Because he was banned before for doing the same unscrupulous things. Then he created another account and came back in and started it all over. Same person. He should be gone.

Far as I'm concerned, it's a slap in the face to every gold member on this board. If you want people to help support this great site, then give us a little something in return when we ask for it.

If an apple goes bad in the basket, you don't leave it in the basket. You throw it away.

Rob I see you have a lot to say about me how about the four-speed transmission that I paid you for including shipping and you never shipped it ripping me off and if you don’t remember Justin Wood remembers and even called you out on it I have not rippedany one off on purpose I have backed out of a couple deals here lately and I know that upsets people because they are counting on that money yes in the past I had a few bad dealings with people but somethings can change And sometimes people deserve another chance like you got Rob when you were a bannedseveral times all I see in this thread is the same five or six people hating on me and they have not let the Past go I have been steering clear of those five or six people because I know that they are troublemakers of the site I am not here to bother anyone I am not here to scam anyone I am here to get what I need for my projects and possibly sell a couple parts that I don’t need that are good quality parts I have learned from the past but it seems some will always be haters as far as the deal with Chris I told him that I knew nothing of the history of the short grip he told me he would take it apart and examine it and I have yet to hear anything from him except for today when he text me pictures and said it was a posAs far as I’m concerned Chris can keep the sure grip and use it for parts if there’s any good parts if not throw it in the trash That’s all I have to say on the matter

....and just for the record, no money ever changed hands between Bob and I. it was all trade deals which he kept changing and changing over and over again until I threw my hands up and gave up. Then he got mad.

I think all of you who know me know me well enough to know I won't "just take" someone's money.

That's some bs right there!! Nothing about those headrests are "excellent" cut studs?? Come on this guy sounds like a real winner! I would love to hear his side but seeing that he isnt coming on here to defend himself says volumes imo!

Well, his response is an admission of who he is so if that's not enough proof for Joey, then we may as well quit trying.
