Thank you very much for the quick reply... it's hard to tell from the pics, but can you please let me know if there is much pitting on the part?

I looked for a long time and never found one for my '70 Swinger. Finally ended up using a hood emblem and drilling new holes. Once installed you can't tell the difference

Thank you for the info!

I can't believe they had unique Dodge badges for the front vs. the rear. Unless the rear was slightly small/larger than the front and Chrysler was looking for a poka yoke. But why not commonize? I'm guessing it was one engineer not talking to the other for the hood vs. decklid regarding hole spacing

I purchased a new badge set from Year One, but when the trim guy said the new one did not fit on the decklid, I started looking for a replacement. I was thinking about adding some double sided tape on the area of the badge where the one pin does not locate to the hole and pinning the other end.

yep it's weird but the rear one and front one are identical, but the back one has 2 locator pins and the front one has 4. I don't think any of them are even placed in common. I understand the 4 pins in front because although the emblem comes flat, when you tighten it down it bends the emblem to conform to the curve of the hood. The back one just lies flat. Nobody has ever repoped the back one with 2 pins. That may be because all the 70 Dart 340s came with the Dart and Swinger emblems on the trunk lid that are just like those on the quarter panel. The rear Dodge sign is unique to 318 and /6 Swingers, Customs and GTs.

This speaks for the comment. " You learn something new everyday" Good info that I didn't know.
