What a great weekend a Keystone Raceway Park.

Racing, joking, laughing, and a few adult beverages with Friends watching the final rounds. IHRA officials and the employees of Keystone Raceway Park did a GREAT job. Track prep was excellent all weekend long. (Thanks guys) With the way my Duster handled last time out I wasn't sure if I was staying one hour, one day, or one weekend. I dug out my chassis books (4) and did lots of reading and gave a call to my buddy Tim Bowman to double check the direction I was heading just to be sure and was rewarded with a car that calmly left the line and repeated all weekend long. 2 days, 7 passes, and both lanes 60 foots were 1.279-1.292 and the car stayed 6.082-6.114 on a sometimes windy, gusty weekend. No more long weekends without my motorhome and cpap for me. I was running on almost zero sleep yesterday. My buddy whooped on me bad 1st round yesterday. Check out his pass in the left lane

1 thousandth package! Nice!!....Man, he didn't leave you much room to win on that one. Looks like you had fun though. :)

Fun but tired. I just didn’t have time to prep my motorhome for the weekend but the killer was not having my cpap. Every time I started falling asleep I would snore and jump waking myself up. Lol

I hear ya. I've been working on re-decking my trailer the past few days so I don't have to drive my car to the track this coming weekend....I don't mind driving it every now an then, but it gives me more piece of mind to have my truck and trailer with me....just incase.

What did you fix in the suspension?

I put a new set of adjustable ladderbars on this car 5-6 years ago as an update to get rid of the ladderbars that had to be taken off to be adjusted. The hex heim connector was adjusted in as far as possible so I removed both of them, cut 3/8 of an inch off the hex heim, and tapped them deeper so I had full adjustment. Squared the rearend and with 200 plus pounds in my drivers seat set both bars a zero preload. I took all my tools and ramps to the track but never had to touch it.

I think that was the three 20,000.00 races at Dragway 42 in Ohio. we had no coverage.
One of those big races was on there. I did not have time to watch.
Will you be at Norwalk for Monster Mopar weekend. I go to watch every year. Would be nice to see you and your car.

This is always a hard one since they moved the date. We have three 10,000.00 races at Keystone 40 miles from my house and my home track. I try to support it whenever possible. If I had my heads up car done which could be done I would got to Norwalk to support the heads up class. I’m just running out of energy and testing time so probably not. Bummer because I love that race and track. I am already paid for the big box race and the no box race at Norwalk later in the year.

I used to close up in my throat so bad that I`d wake up dreaming that I WAS DROWNING, quite regularly. The cpaq machine absolutly sucked for me . And the complete operation was a *****, they took everything in my nose and throat out. The back if my throat broke open about 7 days after the op. , thot I was going to bleed to death before I got tp the emergency room . All tht being said, the operation is the way to go, even tho ur life will be hell for about a month ! Very good way to lose weight too , I did well to swallow water after about 2 days , and it was a ***** for about 2 weeks .

I can say I love my cpap machine and I even use a full face mask. No voluntary operations for me unless I need it

My problem is I still have my tonsils and they partially block your airway. The cpap helps. Now back to the topic lol.

At 63 I still have my tonsils too. Do they still give you ice cream when you get them out. Lol. Ok back to the car. I have another powerglide 90% done with a 1.80 low gear instead of the 1.98 gear in it now. I guess I can save that transmission and finish the 505 Indy headed mega block engine for my green Duster. My sons been itching to drive it

That case is a nice looking piece. Straight cut gears even.
