I know some of yall are Christians here. Or claim to be. I try to be a better Christian every day. Was Jesus soft? He took a bullwhip to those in the temple. He was also and is all about forgiveness. It's in The Lord's Prayer. "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us". We have to forgive if we expect forgiveness. That doesn't mean forget. Look what Judas did to Jesus. Three times. Yet Jesus forgave him. The thief hanging on the cross next to Jesus recognized Him as The Savior. He was next to death, with Jesus. He had lived a lifetime of sin, yet he gave Jesus the glory and Jesus said "Today you will be in paradise with me". Jesus said to love and forgive our enemies.
I would give any of you the same chances in the same situation. Is it easy? No. But it's what Christians should do.
