Stroker SB Engine Building Books

How about you make a sticky of your oiling mods. The more we know, the better we can be. Knowledge is power.

I've posted I don't know how many posts about what's wrong with the oiling system and how to fix it.

How much more time do you want me to waste on it? The cross over tube (which will not fix ****) is in virtually every book I have. How do you undo that kind of stupid?

I could also point out how Chrysler, for decades, fucked everyone who ran W2-5 heads and had adjuster smoking issues. Do you know why? I do. Somewhere in all the paper work I've kept (and I've thrown out a bunch of it and will probably throw out some more when I reorganize the library) a copy of an engineered drawing I paid for, and a 5 page letter outlining why guys are smoking pushrods with that junk. Chrysler, sent out a chicken **** letter, and then called me on the phone to tell me their engineering is spot on.

So...I ordered new shafts. BFN shafts. Took a video of opening the box, and laying the new shafts next to the old shafts. And guess what...the oil timing on the shafts was STILL wrong.

Maybe I should, wrote a book. Would you buy it? I doubt it. Most people don't like their sacred cows sacrificed by truth.

You can find at least two threads where I explain it over in the small block forum. Even typing this out is redundant.
