Hey guys just a quick question since I'm not 100% on the wiring going from one engine to the other maybe someone can help.
I have a 1974 Duster that was a /6 to starts now its getting a 318. The car already has the electronic ignition. I know I have to make a couple small modifications to the engine harness since I still had the /6 engine harness in place.
I will remove the distributor extension, as well as the black and yellow wire that is to the coil needs to be pulled down to the other end of the harness. I already have a line running from the alternator to the voltage regulator and the ignition resistor (Dark Blue). Then the wire from the firewall (brown wire) goes to the ignition resistor as well. If I am reading the diagrams right some say I need to add a ground from the coil to the distributor, as well an additional line from the positive of the coil back to the ignition resistor? Am I missing anything else?

Also I have include a picture of a random connector that I can't seem to locate what it goes to if anyone knows would be awesome. (motor pic is just for something to look at)
