Can you photo the other side of the cones? I think they are salvageable. Maybe some other members might come up with the rest of the parts to make it good. If we can, you can send it to me and I'll recondition it for you free of charge and send it back. Inspect the case really well too for cracks, as if it's cracked, all bets are off, but if not, it can be saved, I believe.

Y ?
Clutch better ?
Cone better ?

It depends on what you're doing. Look at it like this. The cone type is the lighter duty of the two. If all you are going to do is street driving and maybe run down the strip a time or three a year, the cone type is good. Any more than that and the clutch type needs to come into the picture.

Yes, Street only ! @ 500 hp if i lucky. Prob closer to 4 to 450hp. Wow RRR , much Mahalo for the invite. Would be happy to take u up on that. Mahalo Roy, any help would be Oh so great . lmk what i need to do ?

DO like I said first and inspect that case very closely. Maybe even with a bright light and a magnifying glass looking for cracks. Because if it's cracked, there's no need to go any farther. Roy says he has all but the small spider gears. He comes up this way visiting family and has come by here several times so that would take care of that. Now if we can find the small spider gears, we'd have it licked. As long as the case if useable.

Hey, at this point in time YOU are not to be handing out the lectures. Talking ABOUT YOU, NOT TO YOU.
You are so full of **** over this lmao. You got CAUGHT. You didnt fess up to nothing. Your nose has been held to the pile of **** you created and you still try to deflect.
No dealings? Nothing changed hands, BUT I did hold a 7 blade fan for you....then you backed out. No big deal. I see you begging......makes me wonder why?
takes a lot of balls doesn't Steve. his true colors already peaking back through. you can smell the attitude a mile away

Chris over the next couple days I will look through my stuff I bought the guts of a cone type posit from another member I don’t know if the gears were there or not but I will look and see if I can find those parts I’ll let you know

Not really sure what I'm looking at? But will wash and look

That cone comes out, turn it over and tap it on a piece of wood, the cone will come out. Do the same with other one. Take some pictures of the back side of the cones and the bottom of the case where they sit.

The sides and edges of the cone on that side are not really critical. Remove the cone like Roy said and take pictures of that side. Inspect both halves of the case closely. I am pretty sure if we can fine you all the parts I can save that for you and make it a workable unit.

Well, that's a start. Now we just need the spider gears.

Also a little known fact. You can use the shaft out of a open diff in a cone SG. It is a little shorter which affects nothing. Those two little gears are the hardest to find. Simply because they usually weld themselves to the shaft from heat.

Mine is loose, but only 1 shim. Is that right ?

That figures cause when they do seize, they break that little pin in the case and then start eating the case up.

Weld it solid, change your screen name to BiggerBoy68 and sell it for full retail.
