I once thought that I could never be replaced.
That did not hold water.
Boss said i could have the day off. So i got drunk the night before. Phone rings the next morning,boss wants me at work.
I said no, i’m hungover. He replies you’re not indispensable...
I replied “imagine that” go ahead and replace me.
Three years, no raise. Im not being pushed around. When i did finally quit, he hired two people.
Go figure.
