I've found that if you don't answer the phone, they cant reach you. Put your 3 trusted contacts that still call your land line on distinctive ring, and then only answer when it rings special (double ring, etc) My phone provider has anonymous call blocking, spoof Caller ID blocking and blacklist. If it doesnt ring 2x, then I know the black list caught it (Call ID transmitted between first and second ring) if it rings twice, its a maybe. IF the call ID says my number, Im not answering. If the call ID says anything I dont recognize, I dont answer it. Actually, I never answer the phone! You wanna talk, call my cell , Email or text me.

Unless I am absolutely sure of who is calling I will not answer the phone. That is why we have voicemail. And if my mailbox is full....well..**** happens. All of the bill collectors are on my block list, sends them right to voicemail...and well with my mail box almost always being full.....:rofl::rofl::rofl:.
I do need to look into an App I was reading about. You can set it up so that anybody in your contact list goes to your voicemail, anybody else goes to a number that just rings.
I had a Black & Tan Coonhound. If you put the phone down by him he would start barking & baying. Was great dealing with the collectors....Asshats...
