‘67 Barracuda Reverse Bezels Don’t Fit
Your valance has been reworked previously to fit 1962 valiant optional reverse light bezels that appear to fit in the one pic. The licence plate area on the valance looks to be creased inward, and the valance appears to be reworked. I will post pix of my 67 valance, and my chromed repop bezels. The ones i have for my 67 and my sons 69 look to have the same curvature as the black ones you have that dont fit. See pic below. it's a possibility that that car was rear-ended in a past life. Being these are easily broken, somebody probably had a set of 1962 valiant bezels and said, they are close enough so they made them fit.
