Well.....

.....Azul, one of our Redbone Coonhounds... was acting off this morning. Whenever she is standing at the front door with her head hanging some there is something wrong with her. She did not eat breakfast, drink any water or take any of my home made treats. Told Ernie I bet she ate another rock. Last time this happened our vet told us how to induce vomiting, if the rock has not made it into her gut yet this may help her out. Did not remember what she said and not wanting to take a chance we called the vets office. 32 miles, one x-ray later she has a rock in her gut. Vet was concerned that she had not drank any water, suggested we leave her so they could put her on on IV and hydrate her. They told us to be back at 5:30 to pick her up. They are going to do another X-ray, just to make sure the rock is making its way back out...damn buckethead....
