A body motor mount

I've actually did that before, I put a 440 in my brother in laws 70 dart swinger in place of the slant six, but I cut the K member mount's off a 383 B body parts car I had. I cut the mounts off the six cylinder K member and set the engine in with the big block mount's bolted to it, bolted up the transmission mount, lined the motor up and tack welded the mounts to the K member, pulled the engine and finished welding. Hardest part was around the steering gear mount. I made plates to fill in were needed. It worked good but looked like a mules *** sowed up with a grape vine! He ran it that way for a long time even at Ohio valley raceway! We put hooker fender well headers in it later on and elephant ear solid motor mounts and cut and ground off the mess. We were young back then and now days I could do it better but its much easier to just change the K member, better yet use shumacher motor mounts. :)

I did this exact thing back before Mr. Schumacher (or anyone, for that matter) was making his mounts. A friend and I put a 426 wedge in a '69 Dart and had some street fun.
