Many of people from the internet have run those MP cams with tighter lash....I do all the time...In fact i set them a little tighter then what YR has said.......
cold you want them .006 tighter then hot if you are running aluminum heads...
That's the advantage of any solid lashed cam. You can tylor the lash to suit your needs as to how the engine runs. It works a little bit with hydraulic preload too.
