Had to pop my thermostat out (fresh rebuild) in prep for an upcoming dyno session and encountered a mess of gasket and rtv sealer on the thermostat housing.
Went out and bought the amazing Lisle Razor Blade Scraper at my local Oreily’s. I paid $12, but Amazon has it for like $7.
This tool is an absolute joy to use and comes with 5 spare blades.
It could be enhanced, however, by having a molded grip up near the blade end for doing fine, controlled scraping like one has to do on thin edges like this thermostat housing...
I highly recommend this cheap little gem!
