Found: Retro Radio in a 65 Dart

I have had a Custom Autosound USA-1 in my car for several years. I modified a factory faceplate (which I know you said you do not want to do) to fit the USA-1 prior to sending the faceplate to be vaccum plated. I also had to file the radio opening in the dash slightly wider. I also used the factory Mopar knobs on the Custom Autosound radio. The unsuspecting never notice that the radio isn't what came with the car. (I also had a stock feceplate plated in case I want to put back the original radio one day) I used to use the AUX input to attach a walkman style CD player but now have a bluetooth receiver attached and it works great. I would attach a photo but currently have the dash disassembled for some wiring updates and under dash reconditioning.

These folks will put a modern radio in your case but that is very expensive.
