If any of your younger guys (with some $$$$$$) wants to adopt me as their grandpa go right ahead. No need for me in the will as you will more likely outlive me anyway, maybe just put me on a small weekly grandpa allowance, plus use of your parts stash and shop and tools, maybe truck and trailer???? lol

I need a grandpa, but you’d have to be pretty old to be the correct era. I would however, put you up in the camper, give you full rock star access to my empire, and put you to work helping get a handle on this cheet hole I’m working with!! Heck, I’ll even feed ya and give you an allowance. Offered that deal to the kids....no takers!

Heck IF you that old, put me in the will and we will see who wins!! He who dies last with the most toys, wins!? lol

If I was up there I would need a translater, no one would understand my Southern English!

I moved from SWGa to Missouri in '79. Noone could understand me. It took me 20 years before I heard anyone say something besides; Where ya from? Say what? Talk plainly. Split out that snuff.

I got kinfolk in Tennessee, I’m sure I could understand you just fine. Them boys talk in a much different way that’s for sure! Mighty strange tastin water down there too, said it’s Crikwater, don’t know how them fish can live in that!

Yeah and who else has headers to hold on the rear view mirrors!

If you get the Valiant. I get the Hemi.
You can't take all the good stuff. After all we all need some of rrr's stuff to remember him by.

.....and I ain't even dead yet. Thanks. lol

Great humor in this thread. Awesome but remember one day at a time. Could be your last. Respect that adage everyone. lol.
Tomorrow could be your dirt nap time.
Take me, take me, get it over with. I'm mentally and physically tired of it all.

So true. In fact, this got me to talkin to Kitty about it. My son has ZERO interest or knowledge about anything automotive I have. So I have no clue who would want it other than to liquidate it all.

See post 10. I'm just trying to help a friend out. Why? Cause that's how I roll.

Same here !!

Me too! 2 cars, hand and air tools, lift, zero interest. There is no app for that. lol

At least my son has interest in this stuff right now. He and i are working on his 69 barracuda, but he is only 6. Only time will tell. I told him if he helps build it, then its his when he turns 16. We dont have tablets for him to play on. And he wont be getting one either. Saturday when we were in the shop he wanted me to turn on the radio and play "Mopar" music. I figured he wanted to listen to classic rock. I was right. Seems his favorite is Bob Seger tune Night Moves. I must admit, thats a great song. He is helping to rebuild this car. Actually creating and rebuilding something instead of youtubing.

This i am hoping will help follow him through life. Learning the satisfaction of a job well done, and he will be gaining skills by working with his hands. Also learning patience and perserverance. These are all things restoring a car will teach you and so much more. Its a school of real life on 4 wheels. So many aspects of which will follow him through life in a positive way.

I did get him a used 30th anniversary edition of schoolhouse rock on DVD. He loves it. I watched it as a kid 40 years ago, and loved it. I figure it will help educate him a bit since the public screwel system does such a piss poor job, and has tossed civics class out the window. The other day he was singing the preamble to the Constitution that he learned from that DVD.

Thanks for checking in on me :). It's been a rough 6 months of working long hours, trying to finish a car and parting out a car in what little free time I had and my Mom passing away, sometimes life throws curve balls and other times it feels like your standing in front of a pitching machine set on high.
