Hope Sedanman is ok

At least my son has interest in this stuff right now. He and i are working on his 69 barracuda, but he is only 6. Only time will tell. I told him if he helps build it, then its his when he turns 16. We dont have tablets for him to play on. And he wont be getting one either. Saturday when we were in the shop he wanted me to turn on the radio and play "Mopar" music. I figured he wanted to listen to classic rock. I was right. Seems his favorite is Bob Seger tune Night Moves. I must admit, thats a great song. He is helping to rebuild this car. Actually creating and rebuilding something instead of youtubing.

This i am hoping will help follow him through life. Learning the satisfaction of a job well done, and he will be gaining skills by working with his hands. Also learning patience and perserverance. These are all things restoring a car will teach you and so much more. Its a school of real life on 4 wheels. So many aspects of which will follow him through life in a positive way.

I did get him a used 30th anniversary edition of schoolhouse rock on DVD. He loves it. I watched it as a kid 40 years ago, and loved it. I figure it will help educate him a bit since the public screwel system does such a piss poor job, and has tossed civics class out the window. The other day he was singing the preamble to the Constitution that he learned from that DVD.
