I hate them dang things, I can't have anything around the garage without them trying to fill it up, I didn't have the cap's on my torque thrust wheels and they filled every hole up, they even built nest on my spare demon grill! I've started buying totes to store my stuff in and they build nest on the totes! Well anyway I end up taking a small wire and digging them out and blowing with a air hose then running a tap in the threads to clean them out. What are some of the methods y'all use to clean them out? Hoping someone has a magic solution! I'm hoping to completely seal my garage in the future.

Mud dauber wasps are persistent, but you can dissuade them.

They build a mud tube nest, add a prey insect as a meal for their larvae and seal it back up.

Soak the mud tubes with wasp spray at the first sign of tube building and they will leave. Soak it after they have sealed it and the new wasps will never emerge.

A pressure washer will blast the tube into oblivion.

They are primal insect minds, disrupt their activities and they have to move on to be successful in reproduction. They only have a few months to do what they must and failures in doing it forces them to abandon the failed attempts quickly and find a better place.
